Good Questions

How does pay at close work?

We put in your new floors before the house is listed. Our partner Titus pays us, and Titus is paid back from your sale at closing. You pay $0 up front.

Does it cost more to pay at closing?

Not from us. You pay the same price as paying today. Titus charges its own flat fee, starting at 0%, and you see it before you decide. Pay-at-close jobs can't be combined with other discounts.

Will checking my rate hurt my credit?

No. It's a soft credit check, so your score isn't affected.

What if the house doesn't sell?

It's due six months after the first payment. Homeowners can pay it off then or extend month to month at 16% annual interest.

Who qualifies?

You own the house, owe less than 90% of its value, and have a signed listing agreement. Houses in an LLC, trust or estate can qualify. Listing agents can also apply and repay from their commission. Up to $20,000.

What do new floors usually cost?

Neutral in-stock carpet is $1.50 to $3.50 a square foot installed with pad, so three bedrooms and a hall usually runs $750 to $2,500. Vinyl plank is $8 to $10 a square foot, all-in. You get an exact written price at the free measure.

Pay-at-close loans are made by Titus (Aalto, Inc. dba Titus), not by Gator Carpet and Tile, and are subject to credit approval. Terms, fees and limits are set by Titus and may change. Other ways to pay: Synchrony HOME and Affirm financing.
