Usually, yes. Here's how we get a repair that blends in.
Most carpet repairs use donor carpet: a matching piece from your own home. The best match is leftover carpet from your original installation. If you don't have any, we can take a small piece from a closet, under shelving, or an HVAC or water heater closet, then replace that spot with a similar carpet where a slight difference won't show.
Why not order new carpet? Carpet is made in dye lots that vary between production runs, and your existing carpet has changed over time from sunlight, foot traffic and cleaning. Many styles are also discontinued within a few years. A new piece usually stands out as much as the damage did. Carpet from your own home gives the least noticeable repair.

Yes. Ripples are usually fixed by re-stretching the carpet with a power stretcher and re-tacking it at the walls. Most ripples do not mean the carpet needs to be replaced.
