The biggest thing that decides how fast you get new carpet isn't the installer. It's whether the carpet you pick is already in stock with us or has to be special ordered (usually 3–5 days).
Pick an in-stock carpet and customers often go from shopping to installed in a few days. Some do it overnight. One customer in Ponte Vedra Beach wrote on Facebook: "I purchased yesterday and installed today!! Unheard of these days!" Special order takes longer because the carpet has to ship to us first.

You can do these in either order. Plenty of customers come to the showroom first, pick a carpet, and get measured the same day or the next.
In-stock carpet is our Good tier: $1.50–$3.50 per square foot installed, and that includes the carpet, the pad, and the install. Because it's already here, the only wait is getting on the schedule. That's how customers end up with new carpet in a few days.
Special order carpet is our Better tier at $3.50–$5 per square foot and Best tier at $5–$10+. You get more colors, more styles, and softer, heavier carpet. It ships from the distributor before we can install it, which usually takes 3–5 days, sometimes longer depending on what the distributor has available. Special order also includes an 8 lb moisture-barrier pad.

Special order carpet, subfloor repairs, stairs, a full schedule, and rooms that are not cleared on install day. Choosing in-stock carpet and clearing rooms ahead of time are the two easiest ways to go faster.
Not when new carpet is replacing old carpet in a home. Gator Carpet and Tile tears out and hauls away the old carpet free in that case. Otherwise carpet removal is $0.35 per square foot.
